SEND Information
Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
At Kingfisher School, we are proud to be a specialist setting supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Our approach is rooted in a deep understanding of each child’s unique profile, and we are committed to providing a nurturing, inclusive environment where every learner can thrive and reach their full potential.
Our SEND Commitment
All staff at Kingfisher School commit themselves to uphold the principles embedded in the Equalities Act (2010) and the SEND Code of Practice 0–25 (2014). We are dedicated to identifying needs early and putting in place high-quality, personalised provision that removes barriers to learning and promotes achievement for all.
We believe that:
- Every child deserves access to education that reflects their individual needs.
- Every child is unique, and our provision is tailored to their strengths, challenges, and aspirations.
- Positive relationships are the foundation of learning, and we prioritise trust, consistency and emotional safety.
- Every child has the right to reach their full potential, and we work tirelessly to make that possible.
